Angry Zynga loses chance to launch "Birdsville"

I just read this post that Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds have turned down a 2 billion dollar acquisition attempt by Zynga. I am happy that the great Angry Birds series of games are not turned into  "Angry Birds-ville". The two gaming companies are fundamentally different... Zynga is the new social gaming giant, while Rovio is more of the traditional gaming business model on mobile. Both have good potential of growth, but in different ways.

Personally, I dont like the Zynga gaming model... it is too irritating (ads, popups, timeouts, buy credits etc.). I'm more confortable buying the game once, and playing it forever without any interruptions.
